Carl Dahl
(American, b. 1952)Influenced heavily by his upbringing in the Southwest, Dahl uses clay, steel, and wire to bring to life human and equestrian works. Unlike many other artists who began their careers with training in the fine arts, Dahl held positions as a senior Financial Analyst, Corporate VP, and President of a virtual reality research organization. Even with his more analytical background, Dahl produces free flowing and expressive works that portray not only his love for his desert upbringing, but also of horses.
