Eugene Pechaubes
(French, 1890-1967)Pechaubès was a French painter and printmaker best known for his depictions of racehorses. Initially known for his military scenes, particularly those related to the Second Empire, he later turned almost exclusively to action scenes of horses at celebrated French racecourses. He shared a studio with his daughter, Gena Pechaubes, with whom he often collaborated on commissions.
