Tivey is recognized as one of the foremost equestrian sculptors. Some of her most notable work includes her sculptures of famous race horses completed for the Newmarket Gallery. Tivey has completed small scale sculptures as well as large scale, perhaps most remarkable, her bronze cow statue commissioned by the village of Gstaad for their town square. Her most recent works have been dedicated to helping African wildlife, particularly the orphaned elephants being cared for by a South African organization.
