Paul Maze
(French, 1887-1979)Known as the “last of the Post Impressionists,” Maze’s primary mediums were oil, watercolor, and pastels. Known for his maritime paintings, bustling New York scenes, and countryside landscapes, Maze is said to be one of the greatest painters of his generation. Along with his landscapes, Maze also painted quintessential English themes such as sporting events, regattas, and ceremonial celebrations.
